Good+ A sound instance, mainly firm. Rear hinge a bit fast. Moderate pushes to spine tips and corners, with rubbing at corners. Mild foxing to page edges. Subtle spots to cloth. Mostly bold lettering, slightly faded at bottom spine. Tanned hinges. Touch of smudge and push to top corner of front free endpaper. Internal pages are predominantly clean and bright, with a few touches of spotting. No markings apart from Rutledge signature. No dust jacket.

In this, a compilation of stories published by several national magazines, Dr. Rutledge portrays the drama and humor of the wild colonies around his home at Hampton Plantation in McClellanville, South Carolina.
