London: Fisher & Son, 1836. Hardcover. 256 pages. Half leather over brown floriated boards. Title gilt stamped to spine, with floral motif gilt stamped to raised bands. Colorful decorative endpapers. Some 40 steel plate engravings, tissue-guarded. Square and sturdy. Spine shows cracks, as well as chips, scuffs, spots. Corners scuffed, with some exposure to boards. Greater boards show mild rubbing and fade spots. Previous owner's name penned to the frontis. Heavy page spotting throughout, subsiding somewhat in the middle third. Edge loss to five leaves.
